THE ART OF LISTENING - - And yes, it is an art.
PURE LISTENING to someone when they speak, is a rare thing any more. There is a saying: "Speak in such a way that other people love to listen to you. And when you are done speaking: Listen in such a way that other people love to speak with you". Often, when people speak with us, we do not listen and think about what they say. We are thinking about, and formulating an answer to what they are saying.
I have another saying: "The Creator gave us two ears and one mouth. We should learn to use them accordingly".
