THIS IS AN ARTIST'S CONCEPTION of a cigar shaped mother-ship. They can hold anything from 4 smaller disc shaped crafts, to upwards of 100. Most of these cigar shaped crafts are built in space, and have never landed on the surface of any planet. Some of them can be only a few hundred feet long, and some of the bigger deep space traveling ships are like city states and can be several miles to 60 - 100 miles long. Inhabitants there are born {or created} on the ship, grow up, live all their life on the ship and never set foot on a planet.
