THE WRIGHT BROTHERS may not have been the first ones to fly an airplane. In 1902, there was a Baptist preacher named Burell Cannon, who got inspiration from the book of Ezekiel in the Bible, and created a flying machine on the bases of what he read there (I do not see the resemblance). When he was done, he flew it one morning in front of a couple of witnesses, to a height of 15 feet and a distance of 50 yard. The media was not there and there were no pictures taken, so it did not make it in to the history books. He said it was so scary, that he did not fly it again, and that qualifies him not to be in the history books. The wright Brothers flew again and again, and developed the first airplane.
