THIS MOOSE TEAM was owned by William Cody {you know him as "Buffalo Bill Cody"} when he was in Alaska. The team was used to transport mail. Using a moose to pull a wagon was not totally uncommon. They were used in a small way in the timber industry, because the strength of a male moose was about double of a good horse.
