MORE HISTORY HERE. Did you know that Adolf Hitler was the main influence of the design, engine and structure of the first Wolkswagen ? He insisted that there would be available a cheap and reliable mode of transportation for the people of Germany. He said, we must create a better automobile at a better price than anyone, so Germans will buy German products. This will keep manufacturing in Germany and jobs in Germany. Should that not be something our politicians should say?
