I have never tried a "Segway", but is it not interesting that 2,500 years ago there looks like there was something similar. This - - on the left - - is a Bronze Broche from Celtic Hilfort at Horney Oresany. It is dated back to about 500 BC., but it also could be a lot older than that. A "Segway" that long ago???? Maybe they were not all stupid savages in the distant past after all.
