THIS IS A "STAVE CHURCH" which the Vikings in Norway used to go to after they were converted to Christianity - - by force. In Norway, these were called Stav Kirke, which means the same thing. These churches were everywhere throughout the country. There still is a few that has been restored and preserved. This one is not even in Norway. It is built in The Black Hills of South Dakota in recent years.
